Fickle Man United Fans Batter Attacker on Social Media

Manchester United could only earn a single point against league leaders Leicester City at Old Trafford in the Premier League yesterday.
The draw means that the Foxes still need two more points to win the title. As far as Man United are concerned, a win would have put them in pole position to finish the season in the top four because Manchester City lost their game against Southampton.
At the moment, the Red Devils are four points behind their neighbors with a game in hand. Will United finish in the top four? Only time will tell.
Once again, big money signing Anthony Martial was on song for Manchester United and scored a brilliant goal to give the home side the lead. However, minutes later Leicester equalized.
United’s 23-year-old attacker Jesse Lingard was average on the day and supporters absolutely battered him on the social media.
The England international has been impressive for United this season. Summer signing Depay has been mediocre and in his place Lingard has stepped up big time this season. In 17 PL starts, he has scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist.
Yet, the fickle fans were frustrated with his performance and reacted with anger on twitter. Here are a few tweets.
