Once again, Arsenal have failed to win the Premier League title after topping the table on New Year’s Day.
The Gunner supporters are absolutely gutted and now the club must focus on just finishing in the top four, yet again.
No points for guessing, Mesut Ozil has been Arsenal’s best player this season as far as the stats are concerned. The German international has broken the Premier League record for most chances created.
If Arsenal strikers were clinical enough in the second half of the season, Ozil could have broken Henry’s PL assist (20) record by now but sadly that is not the case. The World Cup winner provided 16 assists in the first half of the season.
Since the turn of the year, he has only added two more assists. Over all, he has created 141 chances and only 18 of them have been converted by his team mates.
In the Infographic provided below, Oulala have gathered stats from Opta that depict Ozil’s brilliant season.

If only Wenger could go for Kane. He is a striker with a good conversion rate.
Also one quality defender the Gunners will be real title contenders.
