Tottenham Hotspur have been brilliant under the management of Mauricio Pochettino this season and they must strengthen the squad further to compete in the Champions League next season.
Last summer, the North Londoners signed two versatile attackers in the form of Son and Njie. If reports are anything to go by then Spurs have moved in to sign another versatile playmaker in the form of Ousmane Dembele of Rennes.
According to France Football, Mauricio Pochettino is interested in signing the starlet and last week Spurs have held talks over a move for the 18-year-old attacker in London.
The teenage French international has been in brilliant form this season for the Ligue 1 side. In 21 league games, Dembele has directly contributed in no fewer than 17 goals (12 goals and 5 assists).
Ousmane has effectively played on both flanks and also as an attacking midfielder. In all fairness, Spurs already have quality attacking line with players like Eriksen, Alli, Lamela, Chadli, Son and Njie.
Yes, Dembele may turn out to be another hit as well but Pochettino must sign an out and out forward first to strengthen the strike-force. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.
