Tottenham absolutely ripped Stoke City apart in their own backyard last night to close the gap on top of the table. Now, the North Londoners find themselves 5 points behind Leicester City with four games to go.
Once again, the likes of Alli, Eriksen and star striker Harry Kane were on song and helped Spurs earn all three points.
Tottenham have been lucky that Harry Kane has remained fit all season long. Pochettino failed to lure a cover striker in the last two transfer windows and Kane’s fitness has helped big time. The Argentine manager has to solve that dilemma in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to reports (Mirror), Tottenham are very keen on signing quality Belgian striker Michy BAtshuayi who currently plays for Ligue 1 side Marseille.
The 22-year-old star has directly contributed in 30 goals for the French side this season and is very highly rated. He could be the perfect signing for Pochettino to support and cover for Harry Kane next season.
However, the former Standard Liege forward is an Arsenal fan (Sky). Back in 2014 he stated:
“My preferred destinations are England or Germany. If you ask my favourite team, I’ll say Arsenal.”
“It is a club with a good philosophy, where youngsters get their chance. I’ve been an Arsenal fan since I was a kid.”
