Over the years, Arsenal have been renowned for selling star players and that is one of the main reasons why they have failed to win the Premier League title in the past decade under Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have a habit of performing well in just one half of the season and once again they self destructed to end their title challenge this season.
The North Londoners have few world class playmakers in the squad such as the likes of Alexis Sanchez and record signing Mesut Ozil. It will not come as any surprise to see the duo leave the club if things do not improve and the latest comments from the German international will really worry the Arsenal fans (Goal via Sport-Informations-Dienst).
The World Cup winner has claimed that he is in no hurry to sign a new deal with the Gunners and has refused to rule out a move away from the club as well.
“There’s no hurry, I have two years left on my contract. We’ll see how it goes at the end of the season.”
Arsenal must focus on finishing in the top four and qualify for the Champions League. Failure to do so may act as a catalyst in Ozil’s departure from the Emirates.
Can’t blame him
