As time goes by, it looks highly likely that Manchester United will finally seal the capture of Jose Mourinho who will replace Louis van Gaal.
The former Chelsea manager has been interested in managing the Red Devils for quite a long time and since his departure from Stamford Bridge, Jose has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Reports (Daily Star via MEN) in February suggested that Mourinho has reached a gentleman’s agreement to join Man United. Moreover, Daily Mail reported last month that United have agreed a preliminary contract with Jose.
According to latest reports provided by renowned journalist Guillem Balague, it seems that Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford is just a matter of time. Balague tweeted:
“Every single person in football I ask about Mourinho (dozens of coaches, directors) is convinced he will manage United next”
The former Real Madrid boss had a torrid campaign with Chelsea and left the club, however, he remains one of the best managers in the world and without doubt the best coach without a job at the moment.
Louis van Gaal has failed to revive United even after spending heavy cash to lure stars. Can world class Jose Mourinho turn things around?
