Nuri Sahin – Tottenham Were Easy Opponents

Sahin Wants Long Term Dortmund StayTottenham Hotspur are challenging for the title in the Premier League but the North Londoners were ripped apart by Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.
Everyone expected Mauricio Pochettino’s much improved side to give a tough time to the in-form German Bundesliga side. However, it was a very one sided tie.
On the other hand, Dortmund were considered favorites to beat Liverpool at home in the first leg of their quarter final last night. The Reds fought hard, scored the all important away goal as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Turkish international and Dortmund star Nuri Sahin claimed after the game that he expected a tough game against the Merseysiders as compared to Tottenham who were easily beaten (Liverpool Echo).

“The media said we were favourites. I knew from the start that we wouldn’t beat Liverpool as easily as Tottenham.”

Even the Spurs supporters would agree that their team were outclassed by Borussia Dortmund.
Tuchel’s men won 3-0 at home and 2-1 at White Hart Lane to seal a comfortable victory against a team that has performed brilliantly in the Premier League.

Total muppet, if Spurs had played their best team I would have bet on them beating Dortmund over the two legs. Loserpool are not a better team than Spurs, inferior in most departments in fact. Loserpool played the best team they could, Spurs didn’t, fact. Does this moron of a player really believe that he and his team beat the best possible Spurs side? If he does then he is deluded.
