Over the past few weeks, German international Mario Gotze has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
However, as per latest reports in the media, another top playmaker is now linked with a move to Liverpool in the form of Dynamo Kyiv star Andriy Yarmolenko.
The Reds have been interested in signing him in the past as well but the move did not happen. Now reports (The Sun via Sport) suggest that Liverpool are in pole position to hire the services of the Ukrainian international.
Yarmolenko has been a constant hit for Kyiv over the years and the 26-year-old attacker scores and creates goals regularly. At the moment, Andriy is in his peak years and Liverpool should look to take advantage.
As per the provided Sun link, favorites Liverpool are ready to sign him by splashing a sum of 25 million pounds.
Back in 2015, Pep Guardiola claimed that Yarmolenko is a “top level” player (Unian). The pacy star has scored 15 goals and provided 9 assists in 28 games for the Ukrainian side this season. In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Andriy Yarmolenko.
