Manchester United must reinforce their squad next summer regardless of who is in charge of the club. The Red Devils are already linked with quality players.
One versatile player in the lime light is Italian international and Fiorentina star Federico Bernardeschi. Previously, Gazzetta reported back in February that Manchester United have already made an offer of $31m to sign the 22-year-old star who was recommended by Alex Ferguson.
Now, according to latest reports (Violanews via La Nazione), after the direct offer, United broadened the discussion and added in form young starlet Marcus Rashford in the deal as well.
Rashord has been brilliant for the Red Devils in the absence of star striker and captain Wayne Rooney. Hence, it is baffling that the reports suggest that United are considering the option of selling him to sign the Italian.
Federico can play on either flank, as a central attacking midfielder and also as a secondary striker. His price tag seems very high but then again United paid a heavy sum for Martial as well.
Bernardeschi has scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists in 35 games for the Serie A side this season.
