Liverpool are in search of quality attackers to reinforce their offense in the summer transfer window and a certain French playmaker is in the lime light.
According to reports ,Liverpool are looking to seal the signing of former Newcastle United attacker Hatem Ben Arfa, however, they will have to battle Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain who are also interested in signing the Nice star (The Sun).
The 29-year-old Les Bleus star is a gifted talent but his attitude problems did not help in England. After joining Nice last summer, Ben Arfa is once again in brilliant form and has deservedly attracted interest from top clubs.
In 30 league game, the versatile attacker has directly contributed in no fewer than 20 goals (16 goals and 4 assists).
Liverpool defender Sakho has been impressed and recently praised his compatriot. The former PSG center half stated (Goal):
“I’ve played against Messi and Ronaldo, maybe they were not in their best form against me, but the opponents who has impressed me more was Hatem Ben Arfa at Lyon,”
“What he can do on the field is exceptional.”
The ex Lyon star can effectively play anywhere in the attack and such versatility is a huge attraction for any manager. In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Ben Arfa or look for someone younger?
