An in-form Liverpool side were shocked at the weekend as relegation threatened Newcastle United came from 2-0 down to earn a point at Anfield.
The Reds need to improve their midfield and defense big time in the summer transfer window if Jurgen Klopp wants to challenge for big prizes next season.
As far as the midfield is concerned, Klopp signed Grujic in the winter window who will join the club after his loan spell expires with Red Star Belgrade. On the other hand, Liverpool have been constantly linked with Polish and Empoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski. Klopp has already held talks with the 21-year-old midfielder.
According to reports (Sport Witness via Il Messaggero), Klopp wants the Polish star at Anfield but will probably have to pay his parent club Udinese $17 million to secure his signature.
This season, Zielinski has featured in 31 league games on loan for Empoli, scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists while playing as a creative center midfielder.
In your opinion, should Liverpool splash the cash to sign Piotr Zielinski?
