Tottenham are looking to Lure 76 Goal Star – Must Sign?

Alvaro Morata Real MadridLeicester City are once again 5 points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur after beating Newcastle United in the Premier League last night.
Spurs have had an impressive season and may not get a better chance to win the league title again. At the start of the season, their main objective was CL qualification and the North Londoners are close to achieving that.
With CL football, Pochettino must bring in CL level players and one certain Spanish star in the lime light at the moment is Juventus forward Alvaro Morata.

According to reports (Daily Star via Don Balon), Spurs are in the race to sign the former Real Madrid star in the summer transfer window but can they beat the likes of Man City and arch rivals Arsenal to his signature?
Spurs have failed to lure a striker in the past two transfer windows. They have mainly chased Berahino but surely Morata is a far better option and with Champions League football, they will have a real chance of luring him to White Hart Lane.
The 23-year-old Spanish international has netted 76 goals in his career (Transfermarkt) so far and can play in multiple attacking positions. He can be Pochettino’s perfect signing, someone who can support Kane and play as a lone striker in his absence.

  1. Two Wheels Good says:

And the cost of this player? We have a new stadium to build, there won’t be £50m to spend on a striker. Berahino should be under £20m and Mossa Dembele jr could be just 3-4 million. We need one or two other players too so if this Juventus star is to be had for less then £20m then it could be a goer. On the other hand there are so many rumours and made-up stories floating around that someone might have us believing soon that we could go for Jordan Henderson.

  2. Spurs need quality Striker like “Chico” ex Man United @ $12 Million Steel…Gives 110% every game; not over rated over priced Benahino even @ $15 Million far too much money $10 Million worth a chance!
