Striker Out – Man United's Potential 4-3-3 XI vs Liverpool

Manchester United have already beaten Liverpool twice this season and Louis van Gaal has won all his games against the Reds since taking over the job at Old Trafford. Still, the Red Devils have to be cautious against an in form Liverpool side.
United lost their last league game against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend and will be hoping to bounce back vs their arch rivals on Thursday night.
As far as the team news is concerned, in form playmaker Jesse Lingard is suspended for the game and in his place it is highly likely that Dutch international Memphis Depay will return to the starting XI.

On the other hand, United need more defensive cover and may start a three man midfield. The likes of Michael Carrick, Morgan Schneiderlin and Ander Herrera should start in the center of the park. Rashford may find himself on the bench in this formation.
