Tottenham lured the likes of Son and Njie to reinforce their attack in the summer transfer window but they failed to sign an out and out striker not just last summer but also in the winter window.
To strengthen the offense, Mauricio Pochettino’s priority must be to sign a natural goalscorer. However, if reports are anything to go by then the North Londoners are linked with another attacker in the form of Bournemouth’s Matt Ritchie.
According to reports (The Sun), the Argentine manager is famous for his love of talented British players and he is interested in signing the in form 26-year-old winger next summer.
Capable of playing on either flank, Ritchie has scored 30 goals for Bournemouth so far since leaving Swindon. This season, Matt has netted 3 goals and provided 6 assists in 28 starts in the Premier League.
Ritchie is without doubt a talented attacker but will he really improve Spurs’ attack? Tottenham need Champions League level players next season and Matt surely isn’t one. Moreover, they must focus on signings a striker first who can support Kane.
