Manchester United supporters may have hated Jose Mourinho in the past but without a shadow of a doubt, he is the best available manager at the moment and the fans will be delighted to have him in charge of the club.
According to Spanish source El Pais, Mourinho was approached by his former club Real Madrid in January and the Los Blancos were looking to seal a preliminary agreement with the Portuguese boss.
As per the provided El Pais link, in early February, Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes cut all contacts with Real Madrid and later on Corporate CEO Jose Angel Sanchez found out that Jose has signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United. It is suspected that Mou has basically used Real Madrid to speed up his move to Man United.
Not to forget, Sergio Ramos flirted with Manchester United last summer only to earn himself a new contract with Real Madrid (The Guardian).
Hence, United supporters will be delighted that Mourinho has flirted with Real Madrid only to accelerate and agree move with the Red Devils.
