Manchester United are looking to Finally Sign £24million Star

Since the departure of legendary defenders like Rio Ferdinand and former captain Nemanja Vidic, United have lacked a strong leader at the back.
The Red Devils have been linked with many quality central defenders over the years and lately they are once again linked with Brazilian defender Miranda.
According to reports (Gianluca Di Marzio), Manchester United are looking to sign Atletico Madrid star who is currently on loan with Italian side Inter Milan.

Back in 2014, the Red Devils were on the verge of signing the Samba star who has a release clause of £24 million in his contract (Daily Mail) but the move never happened.
This season, he has been a core member of the Nerazzurri side and has featured in 28 games. He has scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists so far.

In my opinion, the Old Trafford club need a world class defender and certainly not a veteran. They must look elsewhere.
