Manchester United need a massive overhaul in the summer transfer window and must bring top quality stars to bounce back and bring glory days back.
If reports are anything to go by then Manchester United are ready to splash huge cash to sign one of the best strikers in the world at the moment.
According to reports (Metro via Corriere dello Sport), United are set to lodge a mammoth bid of 62.2 million pounds to finally secure the services of Gonzalo Higuian. The Red Devils were interested in signing the Argentine international last summer as well (Fichajes).
This season, the 28-year-old forward has been in brilliant form. In 27 Serie A games, the former Real Madrid striker has netted 25 goals and provided 2 assists as well (Transfermarkt).
Mourinho is heavily linked with Man United’s job and Higuain was a key member of Jose’s squad that won the Spanish title in 2012. Gonzalo might be his marquee signing for the Old Trafford club.
