It will not come as a surprise if Liverpool permanently get rid the likes of Balotelli and Benteke in the next summer transfer window. Moreover, the fans can expect at least a new striker to arrive.
If reports are anything to go by then the Reds have moved in to sign 23-year-old Argentine striker Lucas Alario.
According to reports (Football Insider via Infobae), Liverpool have already tabled a 5.6 million pounds bid to sign the La Albiceleste striker who currently plays for River Plate.
The South American forward has netted four goals and provided three assists this season in 12 appearances for the Argentine side. Last season, Alario directly contributed in 11 goals (9 goals and 2 assists) in 20 games.
Lucas is a talented forward and as per the provided Football Insider link, the player has himself claimed that he will like to play for the Reds. Liverpool must lure a top quality goalscorer who will perfectly fit into Klopp’s system.
