Liverpool need heavy reinforcements next summer if they are to seriously challenge for the league title and win silverware.
If reports (Mirror) are anything to go by then Jurgen Klopp is closing in to seal quality double deal to lure the likes of Jonas Hector of Koln and Mario Gotze of Bayern Munich.
Hector is a versatile left full back who is not only solid at the back but also productive in the attacking third. He has provided 3 assists in 26 league games this season. The 25-year-old could be the ideal replacement for Moreno in the LFC starting XI if he does join the Anfield club.
As far as Mario Gotze is concerned, the World Cup winning playmaker should form a brilliant attacking partnership with Liverpool’s Brazilian duo of Firmino and Coutinho.
The German star can play anywhere in the attacking third. He has had an injury hit season and scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists in 12 games.
Here is how Liverpool will line up with Gotze and Hector if they do arrive.
