Arsenal have been looking to secure the services of young Nigerian international Kelechi Nwakali for quite some time and the Gunners have finally agreed a deal to sign the youngster.
According to reports (Express via Sports Day), Arsenal have agreed a five year deal to hire the services of the talented attacking midfielder.
The teenage star won the best player award in the U-17 World Cup last year where he netted three goals and also provided as many assists to help Nigeria win the title (Transfermarkt).
His brilliant performances in the U-17 World Cup were noticed by top clubs and reports (Daily Star) in the winter transfer window suggested that teams like Manchester City, Bayern Munich and European Champions Barcelona are also interested in signing Nwakali.
However, it seems that Arsenal have beaten off competition to secure the signing of the versatile attacking star.
Arsenal already have more than a few attacking players in the squad, hence, it will be intriguing to see how and when will Nwakali get his chance at the Emirates.
