Tottenham hold Talks to Seal 86 Goal Star Signing

Pochettino-TottenhamTottenham tried hard in the summer for a long time but failed to lure a forward. They have done exactly the same in the winter window as well and it seems that once again they may not seal the much needed signing to strengthen their strike-force.
Spurs are still hopeful about signing (The Sun) Moussa Dembele from Fulham but the championship side wants the player to be loaned back for the rest of the season. We shall see how that transfer saga unfolds in the coming hours.
On the other hand, Spurs have once again spoken (Evening Standard) to West Brom about signing versatile forward Saido Berahino but the deadline day deal still looks unlikely.

The winter transfer window will be a massive failure for the North Londoners if they fail to lure any forward. Harry Kane remains their only senior striker and he has to remain fit if Spurs are to finish in the top four this season.
Berahino is a talented star who scored no fewer than 20 goals last season for the Baggies. Moreover, the 22-year-old forward has scored 86 times in his career so far and has what it takes to be a hit at White Hart Lane (Transfermarkt).
Spurs have loaned young Pritchard to West Brom which means that there might be some hope of luring Berahino. However, the Albions want 25 million pounds (Evening Standard) for their prized asset.

Why have Tottenham failed to bring in a striker? What is the problem behind the difficulties in getting a striker? What is the cause of Jeremy Peace to get so pissed off?
You’ve guessed it…Daniel Levy together with his inflated ego which gets inflated every time somebody says he is a “master tactician that always pulls the rabbit out of the hat”.
In truth he get’s the credit for one so-called magic deal which is the Rafa van der Vaat deal. He very carefully took all the credit for that deal when in fact the deal was hand to him on a plate by Real Madrid by letting Rafa go for £10 million pound but boy didn’t Real Madrid make us pay for it in the long run…Luka Modric and Gareth Bale. Levy always sells our best talent to either Real Madrid or Manchester United making Spurs to have to rebuild their team time and time again and in turn we just treaded water. Levy needs to heed these words “If you always do what you’ve always done you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten”. Problem is he doesn’t seem to learn by his many mistakes.

Well it all about making money and mr levy is very good is that …Unfortunately his ethos is to make money not a formula if you won’t a winning team in tottenham. .this will never change till we get a new chairman. .one day mate..we live in hope

I don’t think it fair to blame levy for deliberately selling star players both moderic and bale both made it pretty clear they were not playing for spurs. If either of them said they didn’t want to leave he wouldn’t have sold them for any amount. But I do agree that he could have made us a much better team before now if he only made more signings when they came up instead of waiting till the last hour each window

Why is Levy to blame for everything? We have the best team I have seen in 50 years of supporting Spurs. Getting Poch was a masterstroke – we not relying just on Kane up front – Chadli, Lamela, Alli, Son, N;jae can play there because our forwards interchange, moving from one position to another – just watch Kane pop up on the wing every match. We seriously have a chance of the title this season, and have a squad capable of winning things for seasons to come. Add to that the best training facilities in the UK, great academy players coming through, new stadium being built, players forming the core of the England squad and cash in the bank. So please shut up moaning, the glass is half full, not half empty.

Daniel Levy is an excellent negotiator. 90mil for Bale for example. Alli for 5mil. Eriksen for 12mill…

Tottenham will not stay in 4th place they will go down and down all because that idiot wouldn’t buy a striker not happy

I would say to all you Levy supporters that once again he has done a great bit of business for himself and not for Tottenham – exactly nothing. What is truly worrying for us fans is that it is a well known fact that we have needed an additional front line striker for over one year and nothing has been done! Whilst I have a high regard for Poch I don’t like the way he is now breast feeding from Levy by simply telling us he doesn’t want to upset the dressing room. It is equally true that the dressing room also looks to see who is brought in and where our ambitions actually lie. Again they will be questioned particularly with any sort of injury to Kane.
