Stars Return – Liverpool's Strongest Possible XI vs Leicester

Liverpool FCLiverpool drew 0-0 in their last game against West Ham United in the FA Cup and will hope to return to winning ways when they face Premier League leaders Leicester City.
Claudio Ranieri’s men have only lost two league games this season and the Reds defeated them at Anfield thanks to the winner scored by summer signing Christian Benteke.
Can Liverpool do the double over high flying Leicester side? Only time will tell.

Jurgen Klopp rested more than a few first team stars for the game against Hammers at the weekend and they will probably return to the starting XI to face Leicester away from home.
It will not come as a surprise to see in form Roberto Firmino returning. He will probably replace Benteke in the starting line up.
The likes of Henderson, Lucas and Can are expected to be back in the midfield. Milner and Lallana should return in the attack. Here is Liverpool’s strongest possible XI vs Leicester.

Liverpool played well in the first and second third, but in the final third, they were shockingly bad. I could not really understand the lineup. 4-3-3 with Firmino up front. No problem there. My problem is, why during their play going forward, Firmino was closer to the No 10 position. Llalana was in the position Firmino was supposed to be in. Despite all the possession and 11 corners, not one goal. Pretty pathetic! Can had several good chances, wasted them all. Henderson, I know he is still coming back from injury, but for the most part, he was innaffective. Another game gone, zero points. It this was supposed to be fielding a strong side, then God help us! Benteke finally made it on, after about 65 minutes. Apart from adding to bodies in the penalty area and to the confusion, did not impact the game at all. Overall, a poor performance with absolutely no answers, just more questions and with the transfer window just closed with nothing but a loanee until the end of the season. Boy, its going to be a long, long season.
