Liverpool lost the Capital One Cup final to Manchester City on penalties and the Reds will once again face the Sky Blues on Wednesday night in the Premier League. Who will come out on top?
Manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to make more than a few changes in the starting XI that played on Sunday.
It will not come as a surprise if English striker Daniel Sturridge is replaced. The former Chelsea star played for full 120 minutes and it is likely he will make way for Divock Origi in the starting XI.
Arguably the weakest link in Liverpool’s defense last night was Alberto Moreno. He has been heavily criticized by Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher. The Spaniard might be dumped out and in his place Flanagan should start as left back.
Lucas was their best defender in the final and he will probably retain his place. Kolo Ture should start in place of Sakho who suffered a knock last night.
Here is Liverpool’s probable starting XI vs Man City.
