How Man United will Line up with Highly Rated Potential Signing

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a big money move to sign Benfica’s highly rated midfielder Renato Sanches.
According to reports (The Sun), Man United and Arsenal are in a battle to sign the teenage star who has been a major hit in the Primeira Liga this season.
As per the provided Sun link, the Portuguese youngster has got a mammoth release clause of 65 million pounds in his contract.

As far as Man United are concerned, the team has not been performing well even after Louis van Gaal has spent heavy sums to sign stars. Hence, letting Van Gaal splash more cash makes little sense.
On the other hand, United lured two top midfielders in the form of Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern) and Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton) last summer. Adding to that, they also have the likes of Herrera, Fellaini and Carrick for the midfield positions. Still, they want Renato Sanches.
Taking into consideration that Carrick and Schweni are veterans and will not be starting every game. On the other hand, Fellaini is not normally preferred in the midfield and Herrera has mostly played in the No. 10 role as well under LvG.
