Terms Agreed – Decorated Star to Finally Seal Deal with Chelsea

Premier League champions Chelsea still find themselves in the bottom half of the table and must reinforce their squad in the winter transfer window.
The Blues have started off well under the management of Guus Hiddink but the Dutch manager needs funds to bring in quality players to turn the season around for Chelsea.
Moreover, Chelsea are also interested in keeping their key players at the club and one of them is Serbian defender Branislav Ivanovic.

According to reports (The Times), Chelsea have agreed terms of contract extension with the 31-year-old defender and he is expected to finally sign the deal next month.
Ivanovic was the best right back in England last season when the Blues won the league and he made it into the PFA team of the year. However, this season, he has been average. The veteran defender must step up big time.
He is Chelsea’s third longest serving player and one of their most decorated stars as well. Ivanovic joined the Blues in 2008 and has won 9 titles.
