Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has got a very strong squad at his disposal but his strike-force needs more quality and depth.
In such a scenario, the North Londoners have been in search of a striker since the summer transfer window and as per latest reports, Spurs seem serious about wasting cash to sign a striker.
According to Marca, Spurs moved in with a 30 million Euros bid to sign Jackson Martinez but Atletico rejected the offer.
Spurs really need to spend wisely. The Colombian striker has so far proved to be a big money flop for the Spanish side.
He has only scored 3 times in 21 games for Diego Simeone’s men and currently reminds everyone of his out of form compatriot Radamel Falcao.
On the other hand, Pochettino only plays with a lone striker formation and splashing heavy amount for Martinez only to use him in Kane’s absence does not make any sense. Moreover, the former Porto star is not renowned for supporting striker role and will not bring anything different to what Spurs already have.
In your opinion, is Martinez good enough or Spurs should look elsewhere.

Spurs- Stop Messing around; Buy proven Striker Like; Javier -Bony -Beneke!
Please No More Europe Failure’s – Like Jackson or Over Rated Benahinio!
Rather give our younger players chance!
Far too much money for someone of his age.
Let’s just get a move on and buy a forward who has speed two footed and CAN head a ball.
My guess is Levy will leave it late and play his games. I really feel so sorry for Mr Pochettino who would like to
Work for a boss like him!,
