Manchester United suffered a major injury set back early on in the season when big money signing Luke Shaw broke his leg against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

If reports are anything to go by then the Red Devils are eager to finally solve that dilemma by signing Wolfsburg left back Ricardo Rodriguez.
According to The Sun, the 23-year-old Swiss international is hig on LvG’s wishlist and United have twice sent scouts to watch him recently. Moreover, the report says that Rodriguez has a release clause of $38 million in his contract but United are looking to secure him for a lower fee.
This season, Ricardo has featured in 21 games for the Bundesliga side, scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists (Transfermarkt). Strong at the back and effective in the attacking third as well, Rodriguez have what it takes to finally solve United’s left full back dilemma.
