He's 'Fantastic' – Klopp Eager to Seal Priority Signing for Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp DortmundManchester United supporters will be furious if their former player Javier Hernandez ends up at Liverpool. If reports are anything to go by then the Reds seem serious about luring the Mexican international.
According to The Times, the Merseysiders have identified the Bayer Leverkusen forward as one of their priority transfer targets for next summer as the German coach looks to bring glory days back.
The 27-year-old star scored 59 goals for the Red Devils during his time at Old Trafford but Louis van Gaal sold him last summer. Since moving to the Bundesliga side, Hernandez has been one of the best players in the league.

In 26 appearances for Leverkusen, the former Real Madrid striker has scored 19 goals and also provided 2 assists (Transfermarkt). Legendary Man United manager Alex Ferguson believed that Hernandez is a “fantastic finisher” (Sky).
As far as Liverpool’s strike-force is concerned, they have not been able to replace Luis Suarez yet. Big money signing Benteke has failed to impress so far and Firmino is the one doing wonders as the False No. 9.
To improve the strike-force, someone like Chicharito will be brilliant but will he like moving to Man United’s arch rivals? We shall see.

Hernandez is an outstanding player and excellent finisher – as Liverpool have found out to their cost. If there is a possibility of bringing him to Anfield in January it would be a tremendous piece of work. The Reds need him.
I believe it would be prudent to leave Alex Teix…. with Shaktar until the summer – especially if he is presently on the injury list.
