Deal Agreed – How Liverpool will Line up with Experienced Star

Liverpool have four first team central defenders in the form of Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure.
However, at the moment, only the Ivorian international is fit and the remaining trio are out with injuries. In such a scenario, Liverpool have acted swiftly in the transfer market and agreed (LFC Official site) a loan deal for experienced Premier League defender Steven Caulker.
The 24-year-old England international has featured in over 200 games in his career, 120 in the Premier League for clubs like Tottenham, QPR, Swansea, Cardiff and Southampton (Transfermarkt).

As stated on the Liverpool’s official website, all the necessary paper-work for Caulker has been completed and the player is eligible to play the next game for the Reds.
He has trained with the first team yesterday and it will not come as a surprise if Steven finds himself in the starting XI against Arsenal. Highly likely that he will partner Kolo Toure in the central defense.
