'What if tomorrow Wenger is calling' – Star Responds to Arsenal Link

BPLArsenal are looking to further reinforce their squad and a certain Swiss international is linked with a move to the Emirates.
According to reports (Telegraph), Arsenal are close to signing Granit Xhaka who currently plays for German Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.
The deal makes little sense since the Gunners already have depth in the midfield department and have also lured one defensive midfielder this winter in the form of Mohamed Elneny. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old star has made it clear that it is his dream to play in the Premier League (ESPN).

Moreover, in a recent interview with Tor Fabrik, Xhaka, although in a joking tone, has responded positively to rumors linking him to a move to Arsenal.
The midfielder prefers wearing the number 34 shirt and the interviewer asked him “What if tomorrow Arsène Wenger is calling and wants to bring you, but the number is already taken (Coquelin)?”
Xhaka responded by claiming “Yeah, I have already talked to him (Coquelin) — he’d take another number”
Granit has featured in 23 games this season, scored 3 goals and also provided 1 assist. He has played 39 times for the national side as well and scored 6 goals. There is no doubt that Xhaka will be a quality addition if he does join Arsenal, however, the Gunners’ priority should be to sign a striker.
