The Gabon international who recently won the African Player of the Year award has already netted 27 goals this season and currently tops the European Golden Show leaderboard with 18 league goals.
The 26-year-old Gabon forward has recently talked about the Arsenal move and has quashed all the rumors by suggesting that he does not want to go to the Gunners and wants to be at Dortmund for some time. He claimed (Express):
“I don’t want to go to Arsenal. I won’t leave Dortmund soon.”
In such a scenario, Arsenal will have to look elsewhere to reinforce their front-line. Signing a top striker in the middle of the season is surely going to be hard.
