Arsenal Look to Get Star Signing Done Before Transfer Window Closes

Over the past decade, Arsenal have only been able to perform in one half of the season and that is the main reason why they have not won the title.
As far as this season is concerned, the Gunners were brilliant in the first half and were on top of the Premier League on New Year’s day. However, once again, Arsenal are now inconsistent.
They have only earned two points from their last 3 PL games and only won twice in their last 6  league games. After the recent poor run, the North Londoners are now 3rd in the table.

Manager Arsene Wenger must reinforce his squad this winter. Talksport cite reports in the Italian media claiming that Arsenal have expressed interest in signing Alvaro Morata from Juventus before the transfer window closes.
Morata was brilliant for the Old Lady last season where they almost won the treble. However, this season, the Spanish international has been out of form. In 27 games, the former Real Madrid forward has only scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists (Transfermarkt).
Arch rivals Tottenam also need another striker and as per the provided Talksport link, they are also interested in signing Morata. Arsenal must act swiftly if they are to have any chance of luring the Spaniard in time.
