Chelsea kick started their FA Cup campaign in style by comfortably beating Scunthorpe United 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Goals from Diego Costa and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in either half confirmed Chelsea’s place in the Round 4. Next up, the Blues will West Bromwich Albion at home in the Premier League and will be hoping to earn maximum points.
As far as Chelsea’s team news is concerned, the likes of Costa and Oscar suffered minor injuries yesterday but are expected to be fit for the game against WBA (PhysioRoom).
Expect a few changes in the starting XI that played against Scunthorpe. First choice goalie Courtois should replace Asmir Begovic. Young Ruben Loftus-Cheek came on as a substitute in the second half and scored. He should get the nod to start in the midfield with Ramires.
Captain John Terry will probably return to partner Kurt Zouma in the central defense. Here is Chelsea’s strongest possible XI vs WBA.
