Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign a striker in the winter transfer window and the North Londoners seem pretty serious about luring a certain Belgian star next month.
According to Daily Mail, Tottenham are ready to act swiftly by bidding early in the January window and hope that they can beat rivals Arsenal to sign Marseille center forward Michy Batshuayi.

Tottenham were linked with a move for the former Standard Liege star in the summer (Mirror) transfer window as well but eventually signed Clinton Njie and Son, and both aren’t natural center forwards. Spurs hope they can finally lure him by acting early next month.
This season, Michy has been in brilliant form for the Ligue 1 side. He has scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in 22 games for Marseille.
