Tottenham must reinforce their strike-force in the winter transfer window as that is the only department they failed to strengthen in the summer.
Moreover, the North Londoners have depth and quality in all other departments but Harry Kane is the only senior forward and if he gets injured, there is no one in the backup with the quality to cover for the England international.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with West Brom star Saido Berahino and reports have been suggesting that he is their top winter transfer target (Daily Mail).
However, the Baggies’ star is not the only forward on Tottenham’s radar, reports (Daily Mail) suggest that Spurs are also focusing on signing Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi and their scouts were present to monitor him last week.
The 22-year-old star is an Arsenal target as well and he is rated around €30.5m (Express via L’Equipe). Spurs wasted their time in trying to secure Berahino in the summer and in all honesty, they must not waste more time in the winter to get him.
Batshuayi is the in form forward at the moment. Saido has only scored 3 goals in 11 league games this season, whereas, Michy has netted 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 17 league games for Marseille.
In your Opinion, should Spurs Sign Berahino or Batshuayi?
Forget Berahino – Spurs Focused on Signing €30.5m Star

Either one will be good.
Although Bera has played n hv knowledge of EPL matches.
Spurs really need a 2nd striker.
Look at Barcelona..they have 3 top..top strikers
Messi..Neymar..n Suarez
So….get d 2nd striker.
Barca have 3 strikers because they play with 3 strikers ! Spurs only play with1 up front (Kane) very occasionally with 2 (if they’re chasing the game), therefore the second striker sits on the bench (or plays when the 1st striker is injured).
