Spurs Clearly want to Lure 76-Goal Star, Rated $22.3million

Standard Liege Michy BatshuayiTottenham leapfrogged Manchester United to occupy fourth spot in the Premier League yesterday and will have to continue improving if they are to qualify for the Champions League again.
The North Londoners have been in search of a striker for quite some time and a certain Belgian international has been in the limelight.
A week or so ago, Daily Mail reported that Spurs are ready to bid early in the winter window to sign Marseille’s in form forward Michy Batshuayi who is rated around $22.3m. Spurs have scouted him on many occasions.

Now, according to the latest reports provided by Daily Star, Spurs want to sign the 22-year-old striker and are going to scout him again tonight when Marseille faces Bordeaux in the Ligue 1 fixture.
Pochettino needs to add an out and out striker to his ranks because the current strike-force lacks depth and quality. If Harry Kane gets injured then Spurs could be in real trouble.
This season, Michy has netted 14 goals and provided 5 assists in 24 games for the French side. Overall, he has scored 76 goals in his career so far and has the talent to strengthen the Tottenham squad (Transfermarkt).
