Picture Proves Liverpool First Team Star is a Liability

Liverpool suffered yet another defeat under the management of Klopp and this time Watford humiliated them with a 3-0 thrashing.
Once again, the Merseysiders were woeful in the defense but they were also clueless in the attack as well. Watford were hardly threatened even though they had very low possession percentage.
The first goal was conceded because of a howler from an inexperienced goalie. However, the second was conceded because an experienced Martin Skrtel was way too lazy to defend.

Skrtel has been in Liverpool’s first team for a long time but things have not improved at the back and he is surely a liability now.
The picture provided below shows how Skrtel, considered the backbone of Liverpool’s defense, could not hold the offside line. The Slovakian even got a chance to redeem himself in the box but made a lazy attempt to clear that eventually set up the shot for Ighalo’s goal. He eventually limped off injured and was substituted after 41 minutes.
