Klopp's Potential 4-4-2 Diamond Liverpool Formation vs Sion

After ripping Southampton apart 6-1 away from home, Liverpool suffered a shocking defeat at the hands of relegation threatened Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend.
The Reds will be looking to bounce back in the midweek Europa League game against Swiss side FC Sion. Klopp’s men have already confirmed their qualification to the knock out stages but have not guaranteed top spot as yet.
Anything but a defeat for the Merseysiders will confirm top spot. As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Daniel Sturridge is once again out injured (PhysioRoom) with a hamstring concern.

The German coach played 4-4-2 diamond formation in the quarter final of the Capital One Cup against the Saints and it worked perfectly. He may opt to try that again instead of the usual 4-2-3-1 formation vs Sion.
Belgian duo of Benteke and Origi will probably start upfront in the strike-force with Lallana playing behind them. Captain Jordan Henderson and Emre Can should return to the starting XI as well.
