Diamond – Liverpool Starting XI Formation vs Southampton

In form Liverpool side will face Southampton tonight in the last quarter final of this season’s Capital One Cup.
Manchester City, Stoke City and Everton confirmed their places in the last four with comfortable victories last night. Can Liverpool do the same tonight? We shall see.
As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, manager Jurgen Klopp has made several changes in the starting XI that played against Swansea. Moreover, the usual 4-2-3-1 will not be used and the Red are playing 4-4-2 diamond formation.

Sturridge stars upfront with Belgian strike partner Divock Origi. Adam Lallana is playing on top of the diamond behind the two strikers.
Lucas is captaining the Reds today and he is partnered by Can and Joe Allen in the midfield. Randall starts in the defense in place of first choice right back Clyne and last but not the least Adam Bogdan starts in goal in place of Mignolet.
