Chelsea face Sunderland tonight in their first game after the departure of Jose Mourinho. The Blues have just confirmed before the game that the new boss is Dutch manager Guus Hiddink.
This is Hiddink’s second spell with the Blues as well and his first one was as an interim manager as well after replacing Luis Felipe Scolari in 2009.
He managed to take the Blues into the semis of the Champions League and won the FA Cup as well.
As far as today’s team news vs Sunderland is concerned, Hiddink has made two changes in the starting XI that played the last game against league leaders Leicester City.
Eden Hazard is out injured and has been replaced by Spanish international Pedro. On the other hand, Cesc Fabregas returns to the starting line up in place of Brazilian midfielder Ramires.
Here is Chelsea’s confirmed starting XI formation vs Sunderland.
