Brilliant Arsenal – Player Ratings Against Olympiacos

Arsenal needed a mountain to climb in Greek to beat Olympiacos and qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
However, the Gunners were brilliant on the night and ripped the Greek side apart in their own backyard 0-3 to reach the knock out stage of the competition.
Star striker Olivier Giroud was on song and scored a deserved hat-trick to give Arsenal the aggregate lead over Olympiacos.

The home side started the game well and dominated Arsenal for the first 15 minutes but once the British side settled into the game, Olympiacos had no answers to their fantastic play.
The North Londoners opened the scoring in the 29th minute. Welsh international Aaron Ramsey played in a superb cross to set up Giroud for the opener. Four minutes into the second half, the lead was doubled and the final goal was scored in the 67th minute from the spot.
