The January transfer window is going to be very important for the Gunners and reinforcements must be made if Arsenal are to win the Premier League title this season.
The North Londoners normally perform well in one half of the season and fall apart in the other. To avoid that, Wenger must sign key players this winter.
Moreover, keeping hold of important players is vital as well and reports suggest that Arsenal are closing in to seal deals for two attackers.
Daily Star (via Football Insider) claim that Arsenal are closing in to agree a mammoth new deal with record signing Mesut Ozil worth 51.5 million pounds.
The German international is on course to breaking PL assists record that is currently held by legendary Thierry Henry. The former Real Madrid star deserves a lucrative new deal without doubt.
Moreover, Mirror claim that Arsenal are ready to seal new deal with young English left winger Emile Smith-Rowe toward off interest from Spanish champions Barcelona. Emile is highly rated and Arsenal believe that he will be a star in the future.

Well done Arsenal !
arsenal fc,need fighting striker and defenser midfielder, atleast to win the premiership title.
Bonaroca :- In my humble opinion what we really need is a midfield defender at all cost. Time and time again
we fall short of an agressive midfielder. Now as regards a striker, there has to be a change from continously
slowing down by passing the ball sometimes uselessly giving a chance to the opposing defence to close
down with at least nine defending players . By all means Mr Wenger could buy a fighting striker but he has
to give the striker a chance to manouver around otherwise it is a waste of money.
It’s great to hear positive comments from gooners fans when we have experienced a fantastic week of excellent results as we have this past week or so, and I enjoy hearing the “expert pundits” begrudgingly offering congratulations for their decent tactical display in Europe’s blue ribboned cup competition. But I despair of these so called fareweather supporters ,who offer scant praise when we are doing well, but when things are not going so well, they become the loudest, most vitreolic exponents of verbal bile you would wish to avoid! A true Arsenal supporter is one who SUPPORTS the team, especially when things are not going so well! COYG!
