Tottenham Ready to Finally Sign 56 Goal Star & Solve Dilemma

Tottenham have been in search of a striker who can provide decent cover in the absence of Harry Kane and/or support him upfront when needed.
The North Londoners tried hard to secure a forward in the summer transfer window but failed. 24-year-old Juventus striker Simone Zaza was one of the players that Tottenham wanted to sign in the summer window but he eventually stayed.
Now, Metro cite reports in the media claiming that Spurs are ready to finally sign Zaza by moving again in the January window.

Last season, the Italian center forward scored 12 goals in for Sassuolo (on loan). This season, he has mostly warmed the bench for the Italian champions. In 8 appearances for Juve, Simeone has netted twice.
Zaza surely needs more regular game time before the end of the season if he wants to earn his place in the Italian squad for Euro 2016. Moving away from the Old Lady can be the perfect solution for him.
However, Tottenham might not be the perfect destination because Harry Kane will always lead the line when fit and Zaza may find himself on the bench more often than not.
