Manchester United completed one of the biggest signings of the summer transfer window by luring German international Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils were eager to secure the services of another Bayern superstar in the form of Thomas Muller but the German side is not interested in selling him.
Still, the latest reports suggest that United seem adamant about signing the World Cup winner and have made a huge offer. Metro cite reports in the French media claiming that United have moved in with a mammoth £84.6m offer to sign Muller.
The 26-year-old forward was handed his Bayern debut by current Man United manager Louis van Gaal and the Dutch boss is a huge admirer of Muller.
Muller is a constant threat upfront, someone who regularly scores and creates goals. This season, he has already scored 17 times in 18 games (4 assists). Overall, Thomas has netted 179 goals in his club career and will surely be a world class signing for the Red Devils if they can lure him.
