The terrible form continues for Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane and the North Londoners must look to sign a quality forward to reinforce their strikeforce in the winter transfer window.
Spurs were heavily interested (London24) in signing England international and West Brom star Saido Berahino in the summer transfer window but the 22-year-old versatile striker eventually stayed with the Baggies.
If reports are anything to go by then Tottenham are still very keen about signing the striker who has scored 56 (Transfermarkt) club goals so far.
According to Telegraph, Spurs are likely going to make a fresh bid to hire the services of Saido Berahino and are also looking at other attacking options as well.
This season, Saido has netted 2 goals in 6 Premier League appearances. Last season, Berahino was on fire and scored no fewer than 20 goals for the Baggies in 45 appearances.
Berahino can surely improve Tottenham’s offense, however, will Spurs be able to finally sign him, only time will tell.
