Martial Shines – Man United Player Ratings Against Man City

Manchester United and Manchester City collided yesterday in arguably one of the boring derbies of recent times.
The Sky Blues were without their two key players David Silva and Sergio Aguero and were looking to play for the draw from the word go.
For Manchester United, the best attacking player on the day was none other than marquee summer signing Anthony Martial who single-handedly tormented City on few occasions but was not provided the support to break the deadlock.

In the second half, City took off Sterling early on for Navas and then later on also substituted star midfielder Yaya Toure and brought Argentine defender Demichelis to reinforce their defense.
In the end, the match ended in a stalemate that helps City retain their first place (only on goal difference). The Red Devils will now face Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup in a few days.
