Arsenal continued their winning run in the Barclays Premier League by beating Watford but can they end their losing run in this season’s Champions League when they face Bayern tomorrow night.
The Gunners have lost both their group stage games in the CL this season against relatively weaker sides and now face the toughest team in the group, German champions Bayern Munich.
Bayern have won both their games in the Champions League this season. Adding to that, they have won 9 out of 9 games in the Bundesliga as well. Hence, the Germans should be clear favorites going into the fixture against the North Londoners even at the Emirates.
As far as Arsenal’s team news is concerned, Wenger should not really make any change in the starting XI that featured against Watford. However, Giroud will probably start in place of Walcott. The French star came on as a substitute at the weekend and scored.
Here is Arsenal’s strongest possible starting XI vs Bayern Munich.
