Arsenal once again suffered defeat at the hands of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and this time the Gunners ended the game with nine men.
Gabriel Paulista and Santi Cazorla were sent off for the visitors as Chelsea comfortably crossed the winning line.
The Brazilian star Paulista was arguably the best player on the field for the Gunners until he was sent off. The former Villareal star was matching Costa’s physicality and was commanding in defense. However, the best turned worst and a silly decision to kick Costa eventually ended Gabriel’s game and ruined Arsenal’s day.
Arsenal did create a few chances in the game but once again poor finishing did not help. Wenger remains the real culprit and the fact that the Gunners did not sign a striker in summer is still haunting them.
