Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has started the same back four in every game so far this season.
However, after a horror injury suffered by England international Luke Shaw, the Dutch boss is forced to alter the back line. The question is, who will replace the former Southampton star at the left full back position for the Red Devils?
The Old Trafford club have two key players who can effectively play as the left full back in the absence of Luke Shaw. The stars in discussion are Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind.
Blind has effectively played as LB for Netherlands under the management of Louis van Gaal. Moreover, the Dutch star was utilized as LB in the second half of the last season for the Devils and performed well.
On the other hand, Rojo is also utilized as left back with the national side and was brilliant for Argentina in the 2014 World Cup.
This season, Blind has mainly played as a central defender and has formed a solid partnership with Smalling. In such a scenario, Rojo should be the one to play in the full back position.
Here is Manchester United’s probable line up in Shaw’s absence.

That could be the best line up bt let our coach stop experimenting on m/field. U cant leave both carick and scheniderin on bench then who plays in a holding role. Bastien and Herrera are all atacking these 2 must be always paired two two. Why do our coach dont use valencia like in psv game where he brot felaini? Falaini z slow. He z wrong coach who jst hate players without reasons. We need another straight foward coach.
