As far as the team news is concerned, there is brilliant news for the club and the fans as manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that captain Wayne Rooney is fit enough to start (Goal) the game against Southampton.
Van Gaal told the reporters:
“Rooney’s was a minor injury you don’t want to take any risks. Now he has had his treatment, I think he can start.”
In other news, former Arsenal star Emmanuel Petit has admitted that he wanted to join (Football365) Manchester United but rejected the offer because his wife did not want to go to Manchester.
“I gave priority to the social life in London when Ferguson expected me to sign for Manchester United.”

The Frenchman who was part of the World Cup winning side in 1998 won the Premier League title and the FA Cup with the Gunners in 1997-98 but could not win anything with Chelsea.
